On behalf of the Westborough Newcomers Club we would like to welcome you to our town. We hope that you will enjoy it here as much as we do! Westborough, MA is a growing community (voted 36th best place to live by Money Magazine), and we would like to help you feel that this is home.
We are looking forward to meeting you and helping you out in any way that we can.

Our club offers a wide variety of activities. A clubwide event is held monthly. Events in the past have included the Annual Fall Kick-off Party, Children’s Halloween Party, Wine Tasting, Holiday party in December, Chocolate tasting party, Cinco de Mayo party in May, Ice Cream Social, Town Meeting Workshop.

Each year we provide programs of interest to the members, so please let us know your suggestions!

Belonging to one or more Interest Groups is also a good way to meet people in a relaxed setting. Some of the groups that are currently active are: Children’s Playgroup, Casual Dinner Group, Men’s Night Out, Book Club - daytime and evening, Crafts Group, Theater/Dinner Night Out, and Bunco.

The Children’s Playgroup and Dinner Group have been two of our most successful interest groups. The playgroups are a great way for both moms and children to make new friends and enjoy some coffee and conversation. Many members have found that often the first and sometimes the most enduring friendships are the ones that started at Children’s Playgroups! Casual Dinner Group meets monthly and you are guaranteed a fun evening of great food and good conversation. Come and share your favorite recipe with us!

For the past 27 years, the Newcomers Club has held it's annual Craft Fair in November. This fair is a juried craft show and all proceeds go toward our community service work. We provide the ; New England Aquarium pass (available at the Library), College Scholarships, gift certificates for needy Westborough families at the holidays, and sponsorship for Little League. Every member is requested to support the Craft Fair in some way big or small from helping to organize the show to volunteering during the day of the show or baking for the Bake Sale.

This year's Craft Fair will be held on Saturday November 10th 2007 at the Westborough High School from 10AM to 4PM.
